The MG series granular ice makers, entirely made of stainless steel, boast an innovative mechanical concept. To produce granular ice an Archimedean screw’s rotating blade scrapes the ice off the inner surface of a stainless steel vertical cylindrical evaporator and then moves it into an ice crusher which processes it, lowering its residual water content. Granular ice is obtained at just below 0°C with 25% residual water. This feature makes it suitable for a number of uses ranging from food display and presentation to the preparation of numerous cocktails, as well as use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and for therapeutic use in wellness centres.
