Orford Refrigerated Cabinets

Orford Refrigeration is an Australian family owned and operated business, that originally started as a soft drink manufacturer in 1923, located in Toowoomba, Queensland. Orford's proudly serviced a large part of the State with soft drinks and aerated water, becoming a household name to many. In an effort to improve the commercial display of its products, and to ensure product was stored and sold at the correct temperature they required, Orford's began designing and building it's own refrigerated merchandisers in 1962.

Orford's merchandisers proved so popular, that the company began producing merchandisers for other beverage companies, eventually ceasing soft drink production in 1989.
Orford Refrigeration quickly established itself as Australia's leading commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturer, growing to employ over 180 people, with Orford product in use throughout Australia and exported to the South Pacific Region.

Orford's have also been selling and producing under licence, exclusively Anthony cold room insert products. Anthony Manufacturing Company of San Fernando, USA, is the world's largest manufacturer of refrigerator and freezer doors.
Orford's have exclusively distributed Manitowoc Ice Cube Machines, throughout most Australia states since the early 1980's.
